Measure your life in love.
My InTACT block had their exposure trip today. They were so flexible and understanding despite the challenging logistics set-up. I saw how they destroyed the walls of their comfort zones and opened and immersed themselves in the area. As their SF, I cannot be more proud of them. <3
In the afternoon, I joined the Blue Eagle and Green Archer leaders for Ugnayan 2011, a leadership summit organized by the AdMU COA and DLSU CSO. Although I only got through the second half, I learned so much from the experience. Indeed, leadership is contagious. To be with such great leaders from different organizations was an honor. Thank you, Ugnayan Core for inviting me to be part of your little team. One Big Animo for His greater glory!
Photo with some of the members of the SecGen ExTeam (Ken, Ryan, Nikki, and Jenica) in the photobooth. ;)) Vain vain kids. XD

For the love of service.
TODAY:
Together with my campaign team, worked on my campaign materials.
Finally got a picture with my idol, Ate Leslie Yu! :D
Graduated in COA’s STEP Up Program.
Gave an impromptu speech.
Got stuck in traffic for two hours.
Submitted my certificate of candidacy and electoral form—11 minutes late.
Photo taken by Dave Anastacio, from COA Facebook Page.
That’s Ate Bob, COA President. I was so touched when she said, “Picture tayo! Substitute mentor!” Absent kasi si Ken eh! XD

The moment we embrace our vulnerability is the same moment we start to accept our weaknesses as human persons.
Today, Ate Ace, Ate Chay and I conducted our own EvSem. It was fun. Hahahaha. :)

Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called children of God. -Matthew 5:9
Lookie what I found in my brother’s bookshelf: my copy of Lualhati Bautista’s “Bata, Bata… Pa’no Ka Ginawa?” I got this book for a requirement in Filipino class back in first year high school, and admittedly, I don’t remember much of it. @_@ I featured it in today’s post because it has quite a distant connection about what happened today.
“Let us all embrace innocence and simplicity like children. Love despite the hurt. Have faith when in doubt. And serve not because we ask something in return.”
This is from today’s homily. I find it very enlightening for it reminds us to look back in our childhood experiences and remember its happy memories. I don’t get it why some people are too excited to grow up that they tend not to notice the beauty of innocence and simplicity.
You know how adults think that children are one of the honest people in the world? Well, I’ve got news for you: they’re also the most lovable, most faithful, and most selfless.
In other thoughts, Father Perry also mentioned something about love. That it is only in love when we learn everything, including forgiveness, happiness, and seflessness. Only when we learn to let love, let God, enter our lives do we learn to give everything else to others.
Fall in love, stay in love, and it will decide everything. -Prayer of Arrupe

My name is Suzie.
This is my Super Project 365.
I made this in accordance to one of my resolutions for this year: Take more photographs. Documenting my one and only life.

This is me and my little joys under the lens of a cheap digital camera.

All photos are original, unless said so.
Thanks for reading. I'd like to say I'm worth more than a photo--that is, more than a thousand words.
